Review on πŸ” Enhance Comfort and Ergonomics with KINESIS VIP3 Tenting Accessory (AC820) for Freestyle2 Keyboard by Jacob Mayberry

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Overpriced, works 80% of the time but often falls off

It's disappointing that this overpriced piece of plastic is a necessary complement to a freestyle ergonomic keyboard. For some reason the design doesn't allow the different angles to snap so it can and does fall off at times. The sole purpose of this product is to keep the keyboard at a constant angle, but it doesn't even do that all the time! However, the design isn't terrible and works well about 80% of the time, which I would put up with if it came with a keyboard or was $10. It's great that the VIP3 can be quickly and easily connected and disconnected for portable transport. Easy to assemble and disassemble. Hey Kenesis - if you're listening, lock the corners in place and it'll almost be worth the expense. It's a matter of choice of technique and design. It's not rocket science, but it looks like the lack of proper competition meant the product is good. Wasted potential. The VIP3 and its keyboard are one of the best ergonomic systems on the market, but that's not saying much. Sad but true. A side note: I found careful research that showed the best ergonomic position for a keyboard is horizontal (awning) and vertical (negative tilt). VIP only allows tents. Most keyboards can't do both at the same time, but the VIP doesn't do negative slope at all.
