I think this kit is a must when buying a freestyle keyboard. With a split keyboard you will have a hard time finding palm rests that will properly support your hands unless you buy 2 mouse sized pads. And proper arm support means supporting the base of the palm, not the wrists themselves. Pressure on the wrists puts pressure on the carpal tunnel and actually aggravates the tendons and nerves in the carpal tunnel, making your symptoms worse. Stupid, I assumed the legs would only attach on the right side. And of course, when I first installed Lets, I installed them the wrong way round. My legs buckled all the time, which frustrated me to no end. In trying to diagnose the problem I found they were installed on the wrong side and replaced them. Problem solved. I'm glad I chose a rather expensive additional cover for my split keyboard. My split keyboard was purchased to help me relax my shoulders with a greater distance than a regular single keyboard. I bought the 20" version of the cable instead of the 9" version. This Freestyle2 looks a little better than the Freestyle I already have. The keys for 2 are definitely a lot softer, I think they have more travel and might be easier on the knuckles than the original. As mentioned, ignore the heel of the palm rest; they are useless. Pros: - Canopy and palm rests are a huge ergonomic benefit to reduce wrist stress for this keyboard and should be implemented with this accessory or other means. Cons: - Palm rests feel flimsy and cheap.
