This is a lovely piece - very femme and elegant. However, it is clearly intended for short term use. The laces are lovely but very thin - I doubt they'd hold up for long - and the corset wasn't sturdy enough to lace up as tight as I wanted without starting to buckle. Of course, my purpose is as a costume or even an undergarment that I would be wearing for an extended period of time; if you are planning/hoping it won't be on long, or plan to wear it loose, then it might be exactly what you were looking for.
