I purchased this item hoping to separate my rooster fish and reduce the size to one tank. I would definitely not recommend this product! One of my males easily swam through the holes in the side of one of my females. I took him out and put him in my own and put my larger male dog in his place, no problem! Had dinner and went to check on all 4 roosters and one of my bitches actually got stuck in a hole trying to swim! She is now missing some of her scales, has discoloration and signs of poor circulation. Get them out of my tank immediately and put all 4 bettas in their own tanks! Strongly disappointed!
