Great frame: easy to assemble, very strong and with clamps it's easy to create a taut surface to work on. I bought an 8" frame because it was the workspace I needed for my project, but I found that the assembled frame gave about 6.5" of workspace. Then I bought an 11 inch frame, which gave me 8 inches of working space and a wide border around the picture.
