Review on 🔥 Silicone Thermal Gene Heatsink Booster by David Plunkett

My Alienware 17 R4 has a very fast SSD, but the drive's temperature can reach over 80C during long multiplayer games. After installing this cooler, the temperature stayed below 70 degrees, which is a significant drop. I recommend trying it out if like me you experience high temperatures, it works well. In my particular laptop, the heatsink fits as you can see in the attached image. However, it protrudes a little, about 2 mm. I can still close the back cover normally, but the heatsink touches the back of the cover. Just something to consider if you have the same laptop. Installation Tip: After you plug it into the SSD, take a look at the installation from the side and make sure the thermal pad is tight against the heatsink anywhere on the SSD. and that there are no gaps. One of the chips on my Toshiba SSD sits lower than the others and I had to put two pieces of thermal pad on top to make good contact with the heatsink.
