Review on Eafengrow EF225 Hunting Pocket Knife - D2 Blade, Titanium Handle & Clip, EDC Survival Tool (Gray) by David West

Surprisingly good. Excellent Value.

Wow. Exceeded my expectations. Basically a SMF CC with Ti Slabs. The lock up is solid. No lateral play, no lock stick. Lockup is around 30%. Blade is centered. The action is not buttery smooth but not bad. I’ve been breaking this baby in with a very small amount of oil and elbow grease. Stiffer opening with right hand which I suspect is slight pressure on the detent from my grip on the lock bar side. Easy to open with the left hand. Warning: during my testing I carried this knife in the left side (pocket). While reaching in my pocket to grab something I received a small cut because my Palm went inside the slabs and was cut by the tip of the blade which is razor sharp. Righties should not have this issue but lefty’s beware. Upon further examination, running my fingers or hands along the frame where the tip area is nestled did not cut me, however applying pressure with the finger or palm leads to skin/flesh entering in between the slabs and is what caused the nick. This should be something to be aware of but don’t let it discourage you. The clip is pretty good. You will not lose this knife. It takes a firm tug to remove it from your jeans. Hardware is black and you will need a spanner tool if you wish to adjust the pivot. I though the pivot was right on so I will leave it stock. Nice stonewash finish should age well. The value this knife provides is amazing. If you buy it you will not be disappointed.
