Recently while cooking in my previous pot I covered the pot with a glass lid and tilted it slightly to the side to prevent spills. However, every time I did this, the lid would close during cooking and the liquid would rise and spill out. and also reduce sticking to the bottom when cooking. In addition, the pans have spouts on both sides. Clean up was exceptionally easy and to date my husband has not burned these pans to the floor. I actually bought this set for its hard cooking, but I love them so much I use them now too. And the kit is awesome. Thank you to the creators of these pots!
