What I need but didn't know what I needed in the pots

Recently while cooking in my previous pot I covered the pot with a glass lid and tilted it slightly to the side to prevent spills. However, every time I did this, the lid would close during cooking and the liquid would rise and spill out. and also reduce sticking to the bottom when cooking. In addition, the pans have spouts on both sides. Clean up was exceptionally easy and to date my husband has not burned these pans to the floor. I actually bought this set for its hard cooking, but I love…

Can't recommend highly enough. They're heavy enough to withstand some abuse, have built-in stretch and pour ability, and look great. Context: I hate nonstick coatings. Given the sensitivity to metal utensils and the tendency to chip after a few years, they just aren't worth the money and effort. Stainless steel lasts much longer and you can use better utensils than plastic waste that breaks or melts. The secret to non-stick cooking is simple. Reduce the heat and use: oil, oil, sprays or even…

These pots really do last forever. I have a set that has been in daily use since 2001 and has no intention of failing. I ordered a set for the house for the winter. The new set has an improvement over the old set. The large skillet is now stainless steel. The large skillet in my 2001 set was non-stick and had to be thrown away after a few years. And I think nicer handles. For some reason the new set also has vent holes in the lids. After sixteen years of daily use of the 2001 set, I can assure…

My second set! Best in Cookware

I bought a similar WearEver set a few years ago and was immediately hooked. However, I have often found that having an extra pot or two would be great. When I saw this set on Revain I knew I had to have it! Pots are lightweight, not heavy like expensive brands. This makes them easy to carry when filled with water and food. You cook just as well; If not better than my more expensive brands, I gave my last expensive ones away after buying these. I like transparent lids so you can see how the food

Great deal on kitchen and dining room

UPDATE 9/20/2015. Well after almost two years of cooking with this pot and pan set everyday I am 100% satisfied with the performance and price. I've attached photos of how the Wearever A834S9 looks now, almost brand new, even with metal paraphernalia. Best cookware I've had in 40 years. I seasoned the utensil twice before use and it is now easy to cook and clean. 1) boil 2) soak in hot water only 3) wash with a sponge/nylon sponge 4) drain and add a tablespoon of lemon juice 5) wipe dry inside…

Excellent set, beautiful to look at

True! So some time ago I bought two of them of my own free will. They paid $6 for a small skillet not included in this set. Went to the same goodwill about 4 days ago and indeed there was a large skillet but they wanted $16 for it. I negotiated the price, but I liked the little one. So I bought it. No lids on anything. I liked these two so much, they cook well and the bartender friend cleans them up easily. So I bought this set to get lids and pots. Just arrived today. I just unpacked it and…

Pros
  • A worthy achievement
Cons
  • For the old ones

Update: It's been almost 3 years and this pan set is still relevant. Just as strong and good as the day I bought them. I recommend these pans from many other pans I've bought over the years that didn't last long. The frying pan I am comparing in the photos is from a more expensive brand and is still in good condition. But they are much more useful. I've washed these pots in the dishwasher hundreds of times over the past three years. They still look great, nothing dangling, nothing rusting…
