Having recently bought a new used car with no floor mats I was looking for something good quality that would fit my size. As some other reviewers have noted, for the money paid, the mats are surprisingly thin and are actually made of semi-rigid plastic, which surprised me. They are pliable only because of their thinness, whereas the floor mats I've had in the past have been softer and more rubbery. Now I'm assuming most manufacturing costs should come from custom molds rather than materials. Although they are custom made for my car, I have found that the rear mat does not yet lay flat on the ground but rather "bubbles". "up" on one side more than the other. I'm hoping this will pass over time and there are currently heavy objects in there to force it into place. Maybe that's because she who knows how long it was in the box. Also the edges of my back mat are slightly warped around the center hump which is a bit annoying.None of this would bother me that much if it was $50 rugs but at $150 I have expected a level of quality that doesn't feel represented here.
