Great charger and battery service tool

I have a truck that is mostly in the garage. Every time I have to get it out of the garage the battery dies. I know sitting around is bad for batteries, not to mention this battery is a few years old. Now remember that this is a big extra battery. for an SUV that was so dead, turn the key and my dash lights don't even come on. I put this little charger on it and it took a day and a half but it was fully charged. Okay, now I'm starting to get a little impressed. I have two old chargers, you know after a while you can hear the acid boiling in the battery and the battery gets very hot. You know chargers that advise against leaving it on the battery for a long time, as this can damage (damage) the battery (possibly even cause a fire). Spring. no longer. I've now fully switched to smart chargers and it seems particularly good. I really hope that in 6 months I won't find a little thing to break because I really like this charger! It seems to be very well designed and made and most importantly it works great. The only negative I can find is that it has a button to select one of several charge modes and LEDs to show which option you have selected and these LEDs are pretty self explanatory as is the advanced mode, in which requires you to press and hold a single button to enter advanced loading mode. For example, if your battery is so low that the charger can't tell if the battery is connected, you can tell it to go ahead and start charging anyway, which is a really nice feature. As another reviewer mentioned, if you've lost the brochure, you'll need to use some of the advanced features. much luck. The multilingual booklet briefly explains all the options for the meaning of the LEDs, and that's it, it's not detailed. It comes in very nice packaging, like you really get something (and you do get that), the device itself feels well made and thought through, you'd think they put a little more effort into the manual. But maybe the product speaks for itself. and so it is. And in the end, most users will connect it to their 12V car/boat/motorcycle battery, plug it in, choose the regular 12V battery option, and that's all most will ever need. As soon as the battery is fully charged, the charger recognizes this and automatically switches to battery maintenance. If you lose power while charging (or servicing), this charger simply picks up where it left off, so you don't have to worry about pressing buttons or selecting modes. It knows what you were doing before and immediately starts doing it again. Am I glad I got this: Yes Would I buy this again: Yes.
