Powerful little battery charger

I received it very quickly and started using it immediately. Charged my 12 volt wet battery perfectly. It took a while because the battery was very weak. It charged up to 75% fully and then started a maintenance charge which sure lasted a while. I went to bed and woke up the next morning to find the status light turned solid green. Not designed to charge a car battery :-(

Ok bought based on good reviews and attractive advertising actually I didn't read the data and it's my own fault up to 75Ah According to the specs it's designed to actually just one battery charges with a maximum capacity of 30Ah It would be great for most sports equipment or lawn mowers etc but don't think you're going to plug this into the wall and the cables will plug into the car battery and charge it."one of these large amp hour batteries IF they are low I will keep them as I have a bike…

Happy with this little charger

Good charger, easy to use. Temperature compensation is a key feature and the fact that this device clearly indicates that it has this feature is excellent. The operating instructions recommend using a 1A block for batteries up to 30Ah. That means it's not actually designed for car batteries. Even block 2A in the instructions is designed for 40Ah batteries. I understand that if the battery is 50% DoD or higher, the charger may take too long and shut down. Great charger and battery service tool

I have a truck that is mostly in the garage. Every time I have to get it out of the garage the battery dies. I know sitting around is bad for batteries, not to mention this battery is a few years old. Now remember that this is a big extra battery. for an SUV that was so dead, turn the key and my dash lights don't even come on. The best device for car charger maintenance and I have used it with an AXTRA 8 power strip.

Latest update 09/29/2021: AXTRA car charger service tool has better price and features than NOCO Genius 1 charger. NOCO's battery clamps are no stronger than AXTRA's. However, AXTRA has a choice of 3.6 amps and 0.9 amps for fast and slow charging. AXTRA also has an O-ring for motorcycle batteries. Overall, the AXTRA car charger is better than the NOCO Genius 1.
