Review on Durable & Dependable: Tuff Truck Bag - Waterproof Heavy Duty Solution by Ryan Gilliam

Good product! Really happy!

This summer of 2108 I used it on two trips from Dallas to Colorado Springs and from Dallas to South Padre Island. This bag rides well in the back of a truck, it inflates and takes some getting used to, but poses no safety issues as long as the bag is full. As we faced the rain I actually found that a plus because the pain never builds up on the bag. Our no-luggage road has very little traffic and I'm an aggressive driver. The second ride I forgot the bag was back in the truck and I drive so well. Luggage, if you have more than a few pieces like we do, provides more than enough weight to hold it. But if you are over prepared, there are 4 rings to hook into the top 4 corners as well as the bottom 4 corners. The opening is very spacious, has 2 zippers and a hem to protect against bad weather. It is as large as shown in the photos and is the largest bag I could find that was not a roof bag and was designed to fit in the bed of a truck. It comes with 4 bungee cords (for the top 4 rings) and a storage bag for when not in use. The only thing that's different for me is the cargo mounting rings, which fit into the side of my truck's body so it rides a little lower. But the bag takes the shape of your luggage or whatever you pack in it, so it doesn't matter.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Almost never
