I live in Minneapolis and ride my bike year-round, 13 miles one-way, although less in winter than summer. The big problem is driving home in November after we have switched to daylight saving time and before there is snow on the ground. This season is DARK. I wanted some highly reflective gloves to be more visible and they fill the bill. Unfortunately I received waterproof gloves with the idea that they would be windproof. I found the gloves very comfortable and kept my hands warm while riding in the 30's. They probably would have worked for me until I was a teenager. The problem is that I often ride hard and my hands get sweaty. As mentioned by other reviewers, it is very difficult to dry the inside of these gloves. I hung them on a hook that kept them open all weekend; they have not dried up. I used the glove dryer for several hours and they were still damp. Please note that these remarks only apply to the waterproof version. The waterproof version is hopefully much better. I'm sending them back and might try the non-waterproof version.
