If you must use one, this works fine.
Works fine for what it is and if you are mandated to use one… For outdoor soccer, it’s volume is decent. Major drawback is that it and all electronic whistles have no personality…. You cannot vary the tone/volume to properly communicate with players. A typical restart should not sound the same as when stopping play for a hard foul! I found using my normal whistle under the mask works better (yes, in outdoor sports in Hawaii, players/refs still must wear masks during play).
