I was very impressed with the ease of installation and increased brightness. Unfortunately, until a few weeks ago, we weren't able to make a longer trip with our trailer. The first day we couldn't figure out where the "burnt" smell was coming from. We found it as the photos show. We were very lucky that our entire trailer didn't catch fire. I still have the original lamps in the trailer and have replaced them with factory lamps. And no, it's not a crack in the frame, it's some kind of black thing in the lens. I'm not sure what I'm going to do now.
