My mother is 97! According to the audiologist, she has a severe to profound hearing loss. Talking to your mom is SOOOOOOO much better with this phone. She quickly learned to control the volume. She's also legally blind due to macular degeneration and has to use a magnifying glass to see the numbers, but she can and it's just awesome. She hasn't mastered the sound control yet, but she's succeeding. There was one instance where things weren't working well enough for her to hear because she was pushing too many buttons and kind of messing up the audio. So I told her to hang up and called her back. This will reset her to the default levels where she can attempt to adjust the volume to an appropriate level. Currently I am very happy that I got this phone for her and the rest of the family.
