works very well. I live alone so there was no way to actually "test" it for durability so I took it to my mom's house and we tried it on the front door to her house from the garage with her by the side of the garage and me the other. she squeezed. It wasn't 100% protection, but she had a hard time trying to force the door open without hesitation (she said she didn't want to keep pushing lest she "break her door open"), so for those looking for a "super strong grip." no movement at all ---- it won't happen. This works well enough as a deterrent if you hear someone trying to get in, and it at least gives you time to call 911 or grab a bat. I live in an apartment complex, so I needed something that would prevent maintenance when I was in the shower or on the property tour (I wanted some level of privacy if I was being dishonest) etc. to make it work for me, good for my purposes.
