Review on ๐Ÿช‘ Omega-Lift Mechanic Stool with Wheels: Tool Box & Padded Chair Seat for Garage โ€“ 450 Lbs Capacity by Cody Wuol

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The wheels alone cost more money compared to cheaper ones.

I went with this cheaper option because of the weight capacity. Reviews from others everywhere said the wheels were broken. All have been rated for a 350 pound load capacity. This one is rated at ยฃ450 and once assembled I can see why. Very durable, a bit bigger than I thought but really makes it just perfect. I don't crouch to sit down. The roles are big and strong. Everything rolls, doesn't get caught in the cracks in the garage floor. The toolboxes aren't as deep as I had hoped, but they work. A little stiff now and don't close easily, they take strength. But not for nothing. I already have the tools loaded and when I move around in the drawer I think the drawers would pop out if they didn't have such a hard latch to secure them. Drawers fit a variety of sockets, wrenches, channel locks, etc. not large enough for a houndstooth bar or torque wrench. The bowls are plastic, which I don't like. The shelf behind the box is suitable for aerosol cans. I thought they would tip over but the lip on the tray is high enough but it isn't. The front shelf is perfect for nuts, bolts, grommets, etc. It would be even better if it were magnetic. The pillow is a good thickness but not too thick to be super comfortable. It is proposed to add a metal mount on the side in the form of a holster for long-handled wrenches, etc., as well as other side mounts for wd aerosol cans. Make the trays metal instead of plastic, or at least make one magnetic. Otherwise an excellent product. Very strong, good height and the casters seem more durable and easier to install. It doesn't take up much space, but everything you need is always at hand, especially when working under a car.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
