simple design and very bright

perfect for a kid's bedroom. A little bit of pain-in-the-neck (literally) to install, but so are all of these kinds of lights. You simply need three hands. The light is very bright and is easily dimmed with an appropriate dimmer switch. The light works well in room with low ceilings since it has a very thin profile.
