Ideal for water and hiking
My 5 year old son used them for kayaking/hiking in Kauai and they worked great. The boots dry well and he didn't complain that they hurt his feet after a 6 mile hike. The tread can get a bit clogged with mud making it slippery but overall I think this is a really good and well made shoe.

- Uncomfortable rubbing at the back of the heel, cannot be worn all day.
