All were faulty and one was cracked. The tear probably occurred during shipping and everything else is a manufacturing defect. Defects are rough edges on the handles that bother us and lots of small bubbles in the glass. Some of the bubbles were on the surface where they could be felt. They look good from a distance and they are as heavy as we wanted them to be. We didn't expect lab-level optical perfection, but we do need imperfections subtle enough to be ignored. Instead we bought them and loved them: =UTF8&psc=1 Unfortunately we waited too long to get them back. We are giving them away along with the old cups they would replace.
