These cups appear to be defective. .

These cups appear to be defective. They lean towards the handle. I thought it was just a set I received the first time but the replacement was the same. If you want my opinion, take Anchor Hocking, it comes in 6 circles. Cheaper, nicer and doesn't look warped.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Useless features

Dangerous Mug - cups, mugs and saucers

The full mug is heavy and somewhat uncomfortable. More importantly, the cup broke while I was drinking coffee. Luckily, I just put my mug on the counter and watched the news. So avoid broken hot glass and hot coffee. I don't know if my experience was unique; know that I will not use the remaining three cups. Best in the trash.

  • Free for educational purposes

The coffee cups are great.

I don't usually write reviews. .But I have to. The coffee cups are great. And for everyone who complained that the labels are sooooo difficult to remove. No problem. .I put mine in the dishwasher and took them out before the drying cycle. np.2 wipes the label and there is no sticky area. I really think that if you don't have a dishwasher. . put them in the microwave. .of course with water in it n i think it will work they are great will order another set

Very satisfied. Will buy them again if I need more.

I've read a lot of reviews complaining about them falling apart and poor workmanship. Not true for me. I risked it and am very happy with their durability. My milk coffees and cappuccinos look beautiful in it. They're not made of thin crystal, but that wasn't what I was looking for. I wanted a durable glass mug and this one is perfect. I've had them for a few months now with no problems. The wide opening also makes cleaning easier. I usually hand wash them, but not always.

  • Feels good
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Matching cup holder

A trendy new sofa with cup holders that are too narrow for my coffee cups prompted this purchase. The cups fit snugly in a shallow cup holder where the bottom of the cup barely reaches the bottom of the cup holder, but it's reasonably stable even on a deeper cup holder. Link to both photos. I also really like the solid workmanship. I use an Aeropress coffee maker which puts a lot of pressure on the cup. After a month with two cups a day no problems. As if they were made in the USA. Good for everyday use

A few years ago I bought a set of 4 Arc International Luminarc Bolero mugs. The first time it was washed in the dishwasher (top rack, normal wash), the upper edge of one cup broke off (peeled off). So I threw this mug in the trash and decided the mugs weren't that durable and didn't buy any more. But the remaining three cups have been used every day since (hot coffee, hot tea) and have held up well without incident, so I figured the one broken cup might have been an aberration. So I just bought

Lots of visible and tactile imperfections

All were faulty and one was cracked. The tear probably occurred during shipping and everything else is a manufacturing defect. Defects are rough edges on the handles that bother us and lots of small bubbles in the glass. Some of the bubbles were on the surface where they could be felt. They look good from a distance and they are as heavy as we wanted them to be. We didn't expect lab-level optical perfection, but we do need imperfections subtle enough to be ignored. Instead we bought them and…

Expected better for Made in USA

So it's not that dark with these mugs. They feel heavy and are exactly the size I was looking for, 16 oz. Can be washed in the dishwasher but is not without problems. Firstly all 4 cups had 2 scratches on the glass, small ones almost like assembly line scratches. They each have the same spot and are pretty deep as I can get my fingernail in each one. I would have thought they would have better quality assurance since they are made in the USA but maybe I just got a bad batch. Anyway, I expected…
