Review on Arc International Luminarc Bolero 16 Ounce by Michael Vargas

So it's not that dark with these mugs. They feel heavy and are exactly the size I was looking for, 16 oz. Can be washed in the dishwasher but is not without problems. Firstly all 4 cups had 2 scratches on the glass, small ones almost like assembly line scratches. They each have the same spot and are pretty deep as I can get my fingernail in each one. I would have thought they would have better quality assurance since they are made in the USA but maybe I just got a bad batch. Anyway, I expected better. The next small issue is the seam on the glass itself (not the handle). I don't want a seam, or at least a seam that's as small as possible. Unfortunately this is not the case. The seam is very noticeable, you can feel it when you run your fingers over it. Although they're only used for morning coffee with the family, I'm really not overly concerned. If you like using mugs to make fancy coffee drinks or something like that, you might not need them as they are unsightly. In general, this is just a regular mug. Nothing special, there are some issues but I can live with that (except scratches!). I'll see how they hold up for the next 30 days with regular use and then go away. UPDATE 2/10. Well they are back. They're just really ugly, cloudy no matter how hard I try to clean them, and they just have too many imperfections.
