This product is approximately 1/16" thick compared to the 5/16" filter I was looking to replace. You can see through this filter like a screen door; it's hard to imagine him doing anything. For the price, this article should be much more comprehensive. I would suggest getting a multi pack universal replacement for about the same price as 1 branded Broan filter, or try to find a thicker original quality filter.
