Opened once and compared to a conventional Bosch relay (30 amps). The contacts in the Ehdis relay were approximately 50% larger than the 30 amp relay and included braided copper wire to the moving contact. Good stuff! Relay sockets are easily repairable. Insert a flathead screwdriver or similar jeweler's tool into each terminal slot on the relay side and press the locking tab against the terminal. Pull the wire and the connector slides straight out of the socket. You can test the strength of the terminals on existing wires, or you can separate the terminals from the included wires and re-crimp them on heavier gauge wire.
