Review on Nordicware Freeze Heat Serve Bacon by Kathy Jaramillo
Developed for bacon but has many other uses.
I bought this product mainly for bacon but will try it with fish fillets and veggie burgers. The bacon I cooked came out great, but doesn't "brown" like an iron skillet, but this makes a batch of bacon (4 pieces) quick and easy with little fuss and easy cleanup. I use paper towels on the bacon to avoid splattering, and they absorb some of the fat as well. I'll try fish fillets and sticks. I don't think the plastic gets overstressed when cooking on low heat. I might even try the veggie burger. The product still holds but is a hassle to clean with all the combing.
