Review on 🚵 Crank Brothers Doubleshot Mountain Bike Pedal: Unisex_Adult High Performance Pedals by Brian Whitmore

I bought these pedals for my new road/commuter bike. This is my first pair of hybrid pedals and I love them so far! I paired them with the Five Ten Men's Kestrel Boa MTB Click Shoes (Grey/Slime, 10.5), seems like a good combination. Spring and leave for 5 minutes. After applying WD-40, the pedals worked great! Easy pruning inside and out. (1 star deducted for this and the paint on the nib.) I wish the nib was anodized rather than painted, I've already scraped off some of the blue to reveal the bare metal. Also, it seems like the flat side could have had a bit more grip or slightly larger footpegs, but that's not a big deal unless you mountain bike on it. At first I was a bit worried about finding the clips because they are only on one side. But to be honest, I don't really see the difficulties here. The flat side appears to be slightly heavier, resulting in the non-wired side (usually) being on top. And I wanted the sides to be flat so I wouldn't be strapped into a pair of cycling shoes for short runs around town.
