. A super reliable connection shouldn't be a problem. I bought it and installed it after 2 months due to my schedule. This made it impossible to return the trash to Revane. This unit broke almost immediately when I plugged in a 1400w AC unit. It worked for about 10 minutes then stopped working, started beeping and never worked again. Like the reviewers below, I contacted GoWise and was disappointed in the response (including a disinterested admin as other reviewers have commented). I had the opportunity to speak to a technician straight away and he advised me to disassemble the entire unit and remove the bottom to check the internal fuses. I did this and the internal fuses were fine. I called back and couldn't speak to any technician. There are only 2 technicians helping with support and one of them was busy driving a plumber to their facility and the other went home "for a few hours" for personal reasons. As a result, I had to wait for the hike planned in 5 days. When I finally called the original man back 6 hours later he said I would have to send it back then they would test it and then send me a replacement. I asked if I could pay the upgrade difference and he said their company policy wouldn't allow it. It's been 3 days since I reported the issue and still no refund information. I still have a broken device and GoWise is not communicating with it at all. After the tech refused to allow the upgrade (at my expense!) and told me it would probably take 2-3 weeks to send back a working unit, I ordered a $1700 Magnum inverter/charger. I'm not sure what I'll do if I ever get this junk back from GoWise (I'll probably try to sell it and hope no potential buyer reads this review!), but I'll have my new Magnum. delivered today! The bottom line is that these reviews consistently feature poor product quality and customer service comments, and my experience is no different. Buyers should beware and consider another company. As for me, I was willing to spend $1400 more than I spent on this device because I want a reliable device that will give me 10 years of hard service. to be better built and better people behind it.
