Review on Artograph LightTracer Light Box 10 by Kelsey Brown

Everything a brow repair could need

I collect animation bangs and sometimes have to deal with line fading and/or holes in acrylic bangs. However, the black lines are very thin and need to be highlighted to be found and corrected. This mini lightbox is perfect for the task. The fluorescent light inside is bright enough to see the "bald spots" on the forehead and the entire box stays cool enough to avoid damage to the mylar sheets the cels are painted on. I didn't notice a single feature. The box does not use an automatic fluorescent lamp ballast. To turn on the fluorescent lights, you must hold the toggle switch in the "light" position for at least 10 seconds. If the switch is not pressed long enough, the bulbs will not light up. They may flicker a little; but it will not light up until the "off" button is pressed to reset the circuit and the "on" or "light" side of the rocker is held down until the bulbs begin to glow . They should then light up fully when the switch is released. The box is very light and perfect for an 8.5 x 10.5 inch animation film. Anything larger must be processed in stages. It was shipped in a protective outer box as the shipping box itself is light enough not to withstand handling by the post office. All in all it was a very good buy and well worth the price.
