Review on 🚨 Radenso XP Radar Detector: Ultimate Protection with False Alert Filtering, GPS Lockouts, Red Light & Speed Camera Alerts, USA Technical Support by Chris Smotherman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very quiet radar detector Excellent filtration BSM

I switched from the Escort 8500 X50 due to many false alarms from the blind spot monitor systems on newer cars like Acura, Honda and GM. I first bought an Escort IX and returned it the next day after watching Vortex Radar YouTube videos. I chose this block for filtering BSM. I've never seen this Radenso XP running anywhere other than common places like grocery stores with an automatic door system. Thanks to the manual GPS lock function, you don't have to worry about the radar detector. The big benefit of this Radenso product was GPS blocking for grocery store and blind spot monitoring filtering. Unfortunately, XP doesn't have an auto-learn function for GPS blocking, the user has to set it manually, which isn't a big deal, currently Escort has a patent for this function. Radenso recommends leaving the radar detector in AutoCity mode, which helps jam a lot of unwanted signals. Ka-band and laser warnings are NOT disabled in this mode, having read the PDF user manual. I was concerned about how quiet this unit actually is. The device comes with two cables, one for powering it from a regular cigarette lighter socket, this cable also has a mute button. The other cable is for software updates via USB from the desktop. I really can't say anything about the suction power because mine is attached to a mirror mount. Radenso offers free lifetime software updates, and it's simple. Compared to an escort who charges you more to send your device in to get an updated firmware. I don't think I will be buying an escort product anytime soon due to the competitiveness of this product and brand in the price range.
