I bought this flashlight to shoot Christmas cards with a tripod (it was otherwise difficult to take a photo due to COVID). In fact, I was quite surprised at how much light you get from the ring even when you set your tripod a few feet away! In addition, the photo hanger is very reliable and durable. There are several light levels with yellow or white light. I am very impressed and happy
