The fit and finish of these versatile pliers is incredible. The handles offer no resistance when closed and essentially close under their own weight. A small gap only in the crimping area, even, smooth and fully centered, gives an idea of how accurate not only the design but also the production (Made in Germany) is. The overall length of the tool is just over 8.5 inches, the handles are 4.5 inches. This isn't really a 4-in-1 tool, it's a 6-in-1 tool. From bottom to top: a) wire cutters b) wire strippers (12 and 14 AWG) c) crimping pliers) standard pliers) precision pliersf) reamer (the squareness of the metal on the pliers allows for a good cutting) Most importantly, the tool feels very good in the hand thanks to the texture and curves of the plastic handle for a secure and ergonomic grip.
