Review on LIFT 60743 1000 Air Spring by Brad Davis

READ THE LATEST OARAGRAPH IF YOU THINK NEW REAR SPRINGS IS THE BEST OPTION. I am very happy with the Air Lift pads. It took over an hour to install, but it was pretty easy and a fun project. I would give this 5 stars but I am very disappointed that they made the price cheaper by sending a plastic t shirt. I hate plastic but after going to 5 different hardware stores and car dealerships I couldn't find a brass tee to install in time. When I tried to put the second hose on the tee it just wouldn't go past the second tip. I tried lathering it up along with every other trick I could think of, but it just wasn't enough. The plastic tee started to bend (which obviously wouldn't happen with a brass tee) so I just used two filler joints and saved myself all the hassle. One benefit of separating fill lines: you may not know it yet. , but the driver's side of the 3rd generation 4Runner is always slightly lower than the passenger side. Separate fill lines allow you to keep it level if you wish. With a pad line, the driver's side sits a little lower (say 1/4-1/2 inch, so I guess it's not that big of a deal). I personally want my seating position to be level, so I ride at 20psi on the passenger side and 22psi on the driver's side with no load. I am very happy with how my 4Runner drives now! Instead of stomping on the smallest bumps in the road, it just floats. It feels like I have brand new suspension! In 2015 I installed new original springs and dampers in the rear in hopes of solving the sag problem. This lasted (I'm not kidding) 2 days before returning to the same level of sag. (I know because I measured this before and after installation) I figured I would have to lift to get quality springs that don't sag, but these airbags saved me from having to do that. They were inexpensive, easy to install and now my 4Runner runs like a dream! I will do another review in a year or two after seeing how well they serve etc.
