Subaru Outback 2005 - worth the money! - Super easy install

Installed on a 2005 Subaru Outback Limited Wagon. This is probably the 5th or 6th trailer harness I've installed in the last 5 years and it was the easiest. It's really plug and play. Remove the rear carpet, open and remove the spare tire, and then remove the carpet from the left side of the trunk. The connector is located in the rear left corner of the vehicle, hidden behind the panel that houses the rear auxiliary power socket. You will likely see it or a wire hanging down. Pull on it and fasten the curt straps. Remove the rubber plug at the bottom of the spare wheel area, thread the wiring harness through the hole, reinstall the connector, reinstall everything else, knot the wiring harness under the rear bumper cover and you're done. I have less than 15 minutes from start to finish. It costs a few extra dollars to avoid splicing wires.
