Good enough to fix a used Delta Drill. The previous owner glued one of the handles into the (discontinued) gearbox. The handle barely screwed into what was left of the thread and dangled heavily. After using the recommended drill bit, the HeliCoil kit cut the existing gear very well. The HeliCoil insert went in easily and the handle screwed in well. I didn't snap off the end of the spool, which helped create a grip for the handle. If you didn't know the drill was fixed, you'd never know about it. He's like new again. I looked at other thread recovery systems but it was many times cheaper.
