Review on π Starrett 33H-12-4RTCAL: 12" Combination Square with NIST-Traceable Calibration Certificate and Data by Jeff Rhodes
Big square but glare makes it difficult to read
What can I say, this is a Starrett. According to my surface plate, the ruler is absolutely straight, accurate to within 0.001 inch on each edge. The ride is smooth and stable. The head is perfectly aligned at a 90 degree angle. The only thing that bothers me is that the glossy surface is difficult to read. I know Starrett has a lot of options and I could choose this one but this was very good value for money. So I have no reason to complain. exactly for this reason next time.
