I bought these patches because I like having enough for me and helping others in the store or on the go. They're good quality (just about anything I've used) and you get a lot of them for little money. So you don't have to worry about those precious six or eight patches that come with a patch kit that's about to be gone. Using the usual method (with sandpaper and rubber cement) I was able to patch the tube. Remember to remove the foil and apply the patch, orange side down, completely deflated. You can remove the clear plastic if you'd like, but it's not really necessary. The size of these spots is large - the outer orange border is about 30mm (just over an inch) and the inner, black area is about 26mm (just over an inch). Look at the photo where there is a ruler over the patches. I would recommend these for people with big tires - on your MTB, Touring, Beach Cruiser, City Bike - but they will probably be too big for your 23/25mm racing tubes. There are smaller 16mm patches that would fit better. Large tubes and jars are available here at Revain.
