Overall good writing speed and processing. Able to work with better drivers instead of relying on built-in Windows drivers. The drive is not included, just the drive, sata cable and 4 mounting screws if required. Pros: Works great at read and write speeds. The noise level is low, you can't really hear it, only a couple of times if you really listen. Cons: Crashes every now and then. This means it won't read as a Blu-ray writer/reader. But it behaves as if it were a regular CD drive. (To fix this all you have to do is restart your computer and it will read correctly until it does again.) As I've had it since July of this year. This has only been done a few times (4-5 times). Restarting the computer always helps. Not a big problem in my opinion.
