Was looking for a 240V 32A portable charger. Based on the reviews I bought this charger. BMW i3. Please note that the control unit is NOT waterproof and is intended for indoor use. would recommend. Also comes with a very strong wall hook for hanging neatly in the garage - the hooks are routed to avoid damaging the cord. UPDATED 2 months : I use this portable electric vehicle charger daily - works great - love the display - very useful information. Maintaining my 5 star rating. I bought an AC WORKS 6-50 welding adapter (from 14-50 50A 4 pin straight blade to 6-50) - the charger works great with the adapter - I use the adapter when I have a family member with a 240- V socket visit his garage for the welder. . Consider another AC Works adapter for camping use. Connection 204V CAMPER - another socket. Update 5 months: Charger still works great, use it 5 days a week for 3-4 hours. I appreciate the LCD display that shows the charge level. There are no issues with the plug or build quality, and the storage box holds up well. This unit is not waterproof - I bought a $15 waterproof 10 liter camping bag from AMAZON. Charging box with LCD display fits well in a 10 liter bag. The block remains completely dry.
