Smooth seams, non-radioactive and cheap price.
Patriot tungsten electrodes are of equal or better quality than the more expensive electrodes I have used. I chose lanthanum 1.5 over thoriated mainly because they pose no risk of radioactive dust when sharpened, although they weld just as smoothly. Would I buy them again, for sure!
