Important, read carefully! How many of us have misread a product page and ordered the wrong item, be it the color, the size, or the item itself? When I ordered these I thought I was buying Polychromo colored pencils. I was very happy to receive them and started experimenting with better quality pens than, for example, Crayola and with a different formula than the beautiful Prismacolor. Then I opened the package and found that I had ordered a pastel. Oops. After overcoming the initial frustration, I became excited about a new thing. I work with pastel colors, both soft and hard. So they are a great addition to my existing pastel collection. And they work like a dream. I came back later and ordered pencils. ;)
