I can confirm the reviewer from 7/20/17 - SLOW, SLOW, SLOW. I installed AQ-5300 3-stg. myself (Bachelor and Masters in Mechanics with 40 years experience) and immediately noticed a very low flow. I measured and found the actual flow rate to be 0.25 gpm at 55 psi supply pressure. The device is rated at 0.50 gpm at 20 psi inlet pressure. called the. Support at Aquasana, and three new top cases (which the filters screw into) + a new primary filter have been sent. I installed these items with a new large faucet and the flow went from 0.25 to 0.33 gpm. Still 35% below rated capacity at twice the inlet pressure. I asked the Aquasana technicians. Type if your AQ-5300+ filter unit was developed due to low flow complaints from the AQ-5300. He replied "yes". All Aquasana has done is increase the flow area of the AQ-5300+ filters by 44% by increasing the height of their filters by 44%. I strongly suspect that AQ overloads under-the-counter filters. Very dissatisfied with the product and DO NOT RECOMMEND. If you insist on an AQ unit and don't want to spend time standing at the sink to fill bottles or pots, one for twice the rated capacity. Maybe then you'll get the expected flow! The quality of the water in the AQ-5300 is the same as the bottled water I buy; the same taste. The device was only used for two (2) weeks.
