Nice remote, fairly easy to attach to a relay switch
I bought this replacement remote for the sole purpose of taking it apart and hooking it up to the switch's wireless smart relay. The range of the remote control is pretty good. About 100ft from my gate, tucked away in the basement (so no line of sight), the signal can reliably open/close the gate. I don't know what the max distance is as I haven't tested it. Find a youtube video on how to connect to a relay switch. It lasted about 20 minutes and I've never twitched before. However, now this little remote is connected to my Alexa, allowing me to control the Ghost Controls gate via Alexa and even automate things like auto close/open on a schedule. I have no idea why Ghost Control doesn't make this easier for people.
