It's a shame that these comfortable, high-quality socks don't fit well in this size. I ordered them based on the size listed and was surprised when they arrived, barely close to the size listed. However, I tried them on and because they are stretchy, they fit "good" the first time. So I thought I would go with them. Then I washed them for the first time. Knowing it was wool etc I made sure to only use cold water and air dry. Wow, they shrunk. Now after three washes they are tiny and barely fit. It's a shame. I would happily buy them again because they feel nice to the touch, but I won't - waste of money because after 3 washes they become unwearable.
