Ideal for hiking. Clothing

I chose these socks for ultra-light long-distance hikes and they didn't disappoint. They're soft and stretchy, stay cool, well constructed and the X-Large size is perfect for my height 12ft. I've only ridden them for about 100 miles, but my problem areas - the toe and heel - haven't seen any wear yet. I've had other "softer" socks that failed at the toes fairly early. I gave them 1 star because they are expensive and the sock area has small seams in the sock. The seams don't bother me.

Pros
  • Easy Fit
Cons
  • Wrinkled Pack

Slim and attractive but too narrow for wide feet

Soft fabric and pleasant colors. The material is thinner and would be good running socks or anything where thinner socks are better. Although they were advertised as some kind of unisex socks, they were too tight for me. I have a slightly wide foot and was just on the borderline between medium and tall. I chose medium because I don't like socks that are too long and too tight. Men should probably go up one size if they have a wide foot or are in one of the size brackets.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Nothing here

Excellent on men

These were my first forty quality socks since I switched to gold socks many years ago. These socks are really great, I love the material and they fit great. It's very hard to find socks that fit 12ft wide, especially on the toes. For the first time in a long time my toes aren't pinched in worn shoes and they're just high enough to cover my ankles without excess fabric. Excellent socks, just recently bought my 8th pair and I have a feeling they will last as long as I want them to.

Fun seams are best for exercise and fitness.

I ordered this stylish stealth style sock for Cloudline and the first thing I noticed was that the stitching was different but they were a different style. This is an ultra light pillow and the other is a light pillow. In this style, the seam is at the very edge of the fingers, and only partially. I have worn these socks several times since purchasing them and to be honest my initial fears have been allayed. These are ultra light socks bought for use in hot weather and didn't cause excessive…

I won't buy these again - they run small and sit horribly.

It's a shame that these comfortable, high-quality socks don't fit well in this size. I ordered them based on the size listed and was surprised when they arrived, barely close to the size listed. However, I tried them on and because they are stretchy, they fit "good" the first time. So I thought I would go with them. Then I washed them for the first time. Knowing it was wool etc I made sure to only use cold water and air dry. Wow, they shrunk. Now after three washes they are tiny and barely fit.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Bad impression

I live in these good for men

WORTH THE PRICE! I'm not exaggerating when I say I love Merino wool socks so much I've stopped wearing anything else. I LIVE in them. You can wear them a whole week without washing without washing. nose and smells nothing! Unlike other socks, these don't wear out as quickly as normal socks. A few years ago I had to be persuaded to buy a pair in a competition because I couldn't believe the price of a pair of socks. I was supposed to wear ONE pair a day for about 6 months, which I did. In the…

Great for men when running

Tried CloutLine socks and was surprised. I usually use Darn Tough, but I find their thinner socks wear out after a few hundred miles of trail running. Typical of wool socks, the wool is washed away, leaving a thin nylon mesh. So far my two pairs of Clotline socks have not worn out and I have done many runs in them over 6 hours so far. They definitely last longer than any wool socks I've tried and I've tried many. They seem to have mixed some more synthetic fiber with wool which could make a…
