The bulbs work well but I thought when I bought "Amber" the glass would be slightly amber tinted or the lighting would have an amber tint of glow versus the clarity . This wasn't the case though, the glass is clear and the inner coils are a peach/orange color (circus peanut color I think) which you can see when the bulbs are off but makes no difference in the lighting when the lightbulbs are on. on the. I was very disappointed as it cost me $30 for 6 bulbs for my chandelier. To be honest I find the orange color pretty ugly and useless because it doesn't give the aged or amber look you might expect so I'm not entirely sure.
