This is the second bottle cage next to the black metal bottle cage that came on the bike. I decided to try the Water Buffalo nylon/carbon block after reading numerous reviews of broken welds or bent tubing on aluminum cages. The Polar bottles I have slide in and out with no problem. The big question is how durable they will prove to be over time. If it proves durable I'll probably replace the original metal holder.
- The unique 23 degree curvature of the temple tips allows for smooth bottle removal without damaging the bottle.
