The screen is bright and readable, although I only want that for specific purposes (I need a monitor I can move and switch around quickly to check if programs are still running on different systems). I decided to tie it to the power cord. - One star deducted because the inscription 7 INCH HD TFT COLOR MONITOR permanently adorns the top of the monitor, as in the main image. If it was a good idea I would have a FRIDGE on the fridge, an OVEN on the stove and a WOMAN tattoo on my wife's forehead. You know, just so I don't confuse her. If it was necessary for marketing purposes, why, oh why isn't it a removable sticker? UPDATE: Received a star for apparently removing persistent text from the monitor. The woman was very relieved.
