After a serious dent in the door of my new truck by an inattentive slob I started looking for different tools to try it myself. First I tried another tool which had a metal rod on two flat disks with a piece in the middle that is glued to the dent area with a glue gun and then you slowly press down by turning the knob. I liked his concept as it was "low and slow" but unfortunately it didn't work for me. Then I tried this tool. I first followed the instructions from the online video where you attach the plastic end to the dent and then use a big pull of a slide hammer to pry the plastic off the car. After repeated attempts, this did nothing to remove my dent. I then attempted to glue the end to the dent and then used a slide hammer with repeated outward medium taps, hard enough not to break the glue. It worked wonders! After several attempts with this method, the dent in the door is almost invisible. I still see it because I know where to look, but my wife didn't see it at all. I'll try again tomorrow and I'm confident that I can completely remove the dent. I would recommend this tool using this method, but it requires patience and repeated attempts.
